Vibrant color project, a carousel horse, iridescent paint

Last night I began painting a new project. Decided it was time to use up some COLOR!
My pallet was mostly - brown, orange, grey, and maybe some blue for the animal portraits.
But, I  have lots of color in my paint collection, so tonight I decided it was time to
think COLOR and do a fun painting. I chose this carousel picture I took at the local mall.
I love detail, but this one is a challenge to squeeze all of that detail in.  I have included a picture
of my progress so far. Hope you like it. : )
