Art 4 Causes Group

As I continue my artistic journey, I keep thinking of new ways to advertise and help others who are creating and selling art. Last month I decided to open up another FB page, I already had a personal page, and a fan page that was very successful. Many of my artist friends were asking me how they too could get more exposure and help charity. So, I added the Art 4 Causes Facebook Group Page

We have grown to  163 members in the first month.
The first group project was to create something for bulldog rescues. Many artisans uploaded their work to the page and the event. Then we invited friends to come see our work and leave a comment and Stars on the ones they liked best. The original idea was to get 12 good examples and make a calendar, but the number of entries were over thirty, so we decided to make a book. I will figure out how to use Blurb.com and upload the images and bio's - this is a print on demand site, and they will advertise the book and give the profits directly to the charity for us.

Our next challenge is collecting artwork for Lupus - it is the butterfly event

The purpose of this group it to bring together Artisans who want to participate in a monthly activities related to a theme and for a cause.
A place to showcase your work - and to get others to view and appreciate the work and dedication it takes to give to charity

To actually communicate with one another via discussion boards - so as to not
bombard others w/e mail messages.

A place to brainstorm and help one another grow and learn how to become better artists and how to market a product in a social media web page.

The mission of the group is to:
Use our creative energy to create a positive place to share ideas and help promote each other while giving back something to charity in the process.
Please come see our group and if you are looking for artists to help your charity or if you would like to give suggestions and showcase your art and support each other with marketing ideas, come join.
